0 to 2/12 One row of Polar Blox 2' on center staggered perlin to perlin. Figure: length of roof divided by two plus one for each side. 3/12 to 6/12 Slope One row of Polar Blox staggered perlin to perlin. Figure: length of roof divided by two plus one for each row required on each side. 6/12 Slope and Up One row of Polar Blox every 12' of roof 1' center in a straight row. Figure: one for each foot of roof plus one for each row. Directions for Screw Down Applications Determine desired location of Polar Blox per manufacturer's recommendation. Apply a transparent Silicone adhesive to the base of the unit. (Use a non-Acetic acid type on Galvalume or Galvanized roofs). Use two self tapping screw with neoprene washers under the heads, screw through Polar Blox and roofing material, into the perlin or structural support. Each Polar Blox should jut up from the roof's surface perpendicular to its slope and face diagonally skyward toward the ridge at the top of the roof.
