Steel Shingles are made from heavy commercial grade Aluminum
or G/90 Steel, and manufactured to resemble a heavy deep
grained, random shake.
Each shake impression varies in
thickness, matching a distinctive feature found only in wood
shakes. Each panel is coated with a premium kynar 500/
Hylar 5000 coating, well known in today's roofing market as
the best coating on the market.
The Steel Shingles are lightweight, at only 1 lb. per square
foot, as compared to 10 lbs. per square foot for concrete
shake and 5 lbs. per square foot for synthetic wood shakes.
Steel Shingles require no structural reinforcement prior to
installation as do many other roofing products.
